Dates, Locations Set for Founders Day 2010
Oregon Alpha's Founders Day 2010 will be celebrated at Kell's Irish Restaurant & Pub in downtown Portland on Saturday, February 20th. We are returning to Kell's after enjoying back to back Founders Day celebrations there in 2007 and 2008. Details on the schedule will be provided soon. Please RSVP to let us know if you can make it!
Oregon Beta's Founders Day will be hosted by the undergraduates in Corvallis this year. Please plan on joining us at the Corvallis Country Club, also on Saturday, February 20th. Doors will open at 6pm. Cost is $35 per person. Please RSVP to Samuel Nicholas, Alumni Relations Committee Chairman.
House corporation meetings will be held before these events. Please plan on attending! Oregon Betas can plan on an update on the plans for a rebuild of the chapter house. Brent Monroe (Oregon Alpha) is looking for 20+ volunteers at the American Cancer Society Gala Event on Saturday, February 27th at Montgomery Park in Portland. Ann Curry (host of NBC Dateline and co-host with Brian Williams on the Nightly News) will be the guest of honor.
Oregon Beta undergraduates are planning on hosting a number of activities this spring for alumni, including: - 02/06 - OSU vs. Oregon Men's Basketball Tailgater (starts at noon)
- 02/27 - Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament (tentative)
- 03/07 - OSU vs. Washington Men's Basketball Tailgater (starts at 10am)
- 05/22 - Alumni Appreciation Golf Tournament (tentative)
